As police continue to search for the person responsible for a hit-and-run that killed a 17-year-old Chapel Hill High School student, his body will be laid to rest Saturday.
Rodney "Roddy" Torain Jr. died in the wreck last Sunday morning on Old Greensboro Road near Neville Road in Chapel Hill.
Latesha Farrington, who was in the car with Torain, Rodney, says a driver aggressively tailgated them while also swerving in the road. Farrington believes the driver was under the influence.
Ashley Bynum, the driver, lost control of the car and crashed into a tree. Farrington and Bynum suffered minor injuries.
Highway Patrol is asking anyone with any information to call 336-570-6809.
Torain's funeral is Saturday at the Chapel Hill Bible Church at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery.
