The Carrboro Cybrary announces Creative Connections at the Cybrary Art Walk, to be held on Friday, July 10 from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm at the Carrboro Century Center, located at 100 N. Greensboro Street.
“Our summer reading theme this year is ‘Be Creative,’ so we wanted to provide an opportunity for our patrons to show off their crative talents,” said Laura Dallas, branch manager of the Carrboro Cybrary.
Cybrary patrons will display and sell their creative works of art and handicraft inside the Cybrary throughout the month of July. The Cybrary will host an artists’ reception during the Second Friday Art Walk, a community art walk through downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill. During the event, the community will be able to discover the many creative talents of Cybrary patrons while enjoying light refreshments and music; from paintings to sculptures to photographs to jewelry, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
For more information, call the Cybrary at (919) 918-7387.
