RALEIGH, N.C. -
There is a freeze warning in effect for most of the area fro 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service, winds will be calm overnight under clear skies, allowing temperatures to fall to the mid-30s.
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
The warning has been issued for the following counties:
