Officers Seek Assistance Identifying Pedestrian Killed

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The Fayetteville Police Department needs help identifying a pedestrian that was killed in a Nov. 1 traffic accident on Cedar Creek Road.

On Saturday evening at about 7:02 p.m., an unknown black male was killed by a motorist when he stepped out into oncoming traffic at 1936 Cedar Creek Road.

The male is described as being in his late 40s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 170 lbs. He had a shaved head with little facial hair that was graying. He was wearing a blue NYPD sweatshirt and had red polish on his fingernails.

Anyone with any information on the identification of this person is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856.
