Police are investigating the death of a newborn after it was delivered into a toilet.
Warrants were issued May 15 for a home at 705 Sherrybrook Drive.
Officers were called to the house that day in reference to an injured baby.
The newborn's mother, Linda Scott, told officers that she was using the bathroom.
According to warrants, as Scott was pushing she felt something strange and observed a baby in the toilet.
Warrants indicate that EMS and Fire arrived and transported Scott and the baby to Wake Med, where the baby was pronounced dead.
Officers suspect child abuse may be invovled and searched the house for fingerprints, trace evidence, fibers, bodily secretions, blood, clothing worn during the incident and bed covers.
No one has been charged.
