A man who attempted to break into a Cary ABC store before managed to succeed the second time and stole an unknown amount of liquor, police said.
The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help to find the man responsible for breaking into the ABC Store, 665 Cary Towne Blvd., in Cary on June 7.
Police said the same suspect allegedly tried to break into the store on June 3.
As shown in the first part of surveillance footage at http://www.townofcary.org/med/video/092727s.ram, the suspect unsuccessfully attempted to break the front glass door with a hammer on June 3.
The end of the footage shows the same suspect breaking into the rear of the business on June 7 via the rear security door and proceeding inside. Once inside, the suspect took an unknown amount of alcoholic beverages and left the area.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts and a black mask.
"We're asking anyone who has information about the suspect or the burglary to contact us," said Lt. Steve Fonke.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of those responsible for committing certain types of crimes.
