I broke down and bout a digital tv yesterday along with an ehnanced indoor antenna from Best Buy. I watched channel 17.1 last nite, this AM, the talk show came on but getting blacking out until finally I received a no signal notice. I moved the antenna around but it was no good. Why did I get 17 last evening but not this morning with my indoor antenna?

Yeah, I have rescanned. I am assuming at this point it has something to do with Media Center and is not affecting the greater population, otherwise I would have heard more about it. Still though, really annoying.

Drew: Have you rescanned? That should give you all your channels

I am having the exact same problem as chuck. I use OTA digital for my tv tuner on my pc. Up until sometime recently (the switchover?) I could receive all local digital channels with my rabbit ears. Now all I can see is Fox 50. The antenna position, pc, everything else hasn't changed. While I didn't think reception would improve after the switch I did at least expect it to not get worse. Anybody else have this problem?

NBC 17 has finally returned back to Moore County!!! And I knew the problem was NOT with my antenna, my TV or my DTV converter.

The FCC and public TV screwed up. It is necessary to rescan your TV because the underlying channel frequencies changed. Channel 17 came up over night and I now receive it for the first time in months. The FCC has an excellent site dtv.gov You may need to rescan again as other stations convert

In Carrboro, also used to get channel 17 very well, now it's completely gone. What gives, NBC 17?

I've been getting zero signal, even though I get a strong signal from other stations near you. I understood that your signal would be stronger now. What's the problem

I use windows media center in windows 7 release candidate. I reconfigured my atsc tuner following the june 12 date, and now all of my channels except for fox 50 have little to no signal strength at all. I use an amplified antenna and had no problem before june 12. I dont understand, did the broadcast frequencies change for these stations and if so when will microsoft update the guide listings to appropriatley accomodate the frequency change.

I have a Fuquay-Varina address. I used to get dtv 17 but not now. Is there something being done to fix this?
