A pilot of a single engine plane escaped uninjured after an emergency landing at Raleigh-Durham Int'l Airport Monday morning.
Mindy Hamlin, spokeswoman for RDU, said the single engine plane experienced some problems while landing. Apparently the nose gear collapsed as the plane landed.
Emergency personnel were sent to the scene, but no injuries were reported.
Hamlin adds that crews were able to fix the nose gear and the plane was able to make it to the hangar on its own power.
