RALEIGH, N.C. -

As students look to begin a new semester at Saint Augustine's college freshmen and new students begin moving into their dorms on Wednesday.

In an effort to ease the transition for new and transfer students from high school, home and other colleges and universities to life at Saint Augustine's College, the administration has set up a full calendar of activities which include registration, orientation, seminars, and socials.

The College administration has set the following goals for Falcon Welcome Week:
 Provide a smooth and coordinated arrival procedure
 Provide students the opportunity to complete business through a guided process to ensure all students are registered before classes begin
 To introduce new students to a peer mentor who will assist them throughout the first year
 To provide social activities to help students get acquainted with one another and faculty and staff
 To provide new students the opportunity to explore the programs and majors offered.

Move in begins at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Freshmen males will move into Latham Hall and females will move into Weston Hall.

Falcon Welcome Week runs Wednesday, August 12, through Tuesday, August 18. The semester for all students begins on Wednesday, August 19.
