Durham police investigators are searching for a man wanted on vehicle break-in and fraud charges.

Montaez Stanback, 19, of Davie Road is charged with breaking into a vehicle on July 19 in the 7600 block of Fayetteville Road and taking two purses and credit cards. He is also charged with using the stolen credit cards at several businesses in Durham.

He is also charged with breaking into a car on July 22 in the 1900 block of Cornwallis Road and taking a purse.

Stanback is wanted on the following charges: two counts of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle, three counts of larceny, five counts of identity theft, five counts of obtaining property by false pretense and one count of attempting to obtain property by false pretense.
