DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham police are looking for a female suspected of shoplifting and then pulling a knife on a store employee last week.

A female entered the CVS at 5311 North Roxboro Road around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. She left the store a few minutes later and set off alarms.

When an employee approached her in the parking lot, she pulled out a knife, according to a police report. She fled in a tan Buick Riviera.

The suspect is described as a female in her 20s, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds. She had short hair and was wearing a short-sleeved blouse, blue jeans and sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator B. Jones at 560-4582, ext. 29248 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
