Durham Police are looking for a man they say broke into six vehicles at an auto repair shop and a home.
Leander Lawrence, Jr., is charged with breaking into a house on Drew Street on August 10 and breaking into six vehicles at Excel Auto Inc., located on Ramseur Street on September 19.
Lawrence, 48, has been known to frequent the areas of East Club Blvd., Hopkins Street, Brick House Lane, East Main St., and the homeless shelter on Liberty St.
He has been charged with one count of breaking and entering, one count of larceny after breaking and entering, one count of felony conspiracy, six counts of breaking and entering to vehicles, seven counts of injury to property, one count of trespassing and two counts of felony larceny. He is also wanted for parole violations on previous charges including being a habitual offender.
