About a hundred dogs jumped, limboed, ran and sat at the 18th Annual Dog Olympics.
The doggie competition took over Moore Square in Raleigh Saturday.
Dogs and their owners could win medals in events from personal tricks to musical sitting, a dog variation of musical chairs.
An "olympic village" featured information booths by various breed and shelter rescue groups.
North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine puts on the event each year.
The American Kennel club hosted agility demonstrations throughout the day.
Proceeds from the event go to benefit local dog rescue shelters.
