RALEIGH, N.C. -
One of the top political analysts on Fox News is offering his commentary on the Obama administration so far to a North Carolina audience.
Fox News chief political contributor Michael Barone (bah-ROHN') is the lunch speaker Wednesday at the John Locke Foundation in Raleigh.
Barone is a principal co-author of "The Almanac of American Politics," which every two years tries to assess the nation's political landscape.
Barone visited all 435 of the country's congressional districts during his career as a political reporter that started at the Washington Post in 1981. Before that, Barone was vice president of a Washington polling firm specializing in political campaigns.
