RALEIGH, N.C. -
An accident involving an RV on Capital Blvd. Thursday evening caused a nine-car pile-up and sent one person to the hospital
Police say north-bound Capital Blvd was temporarily closed while the accident scene was cleared at the intersection of Capital Blvd and Brentwood.
At this point, police suspect the RV was the cause of the pile-up, though witnesses say the driver jumped out of the vehicle and fled the scene.
One person involved in the accident was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
