Over 200 videogame enthusiasts of all ages are expected for the grand opening of RUaGamer, the Triangle’s premier interactive social gaming destination, this Saturday, November 7 from 2-11 p.m. Dozens of videogame-related giveaways, popular energy and soft drink vendors, music, and free use of all RUaGamer gaming stations will be available for visitors throughout this event which is free and open to the public. With over 4,000 square feet of space, RUaGamer is by far the largest high-end LAN gaming center in the Triangle with over 55 gaming stations; high-resolution 26” and 42” LCD displays; a performance area with 120” screen, stage trussing, and spotlights; and a large Wii area to fit small groups. The facility has a Wi-Fi break room/lounge area for parents and friends of gamers; energy and soft drinks; and various snacks.
