The V Foundation for Cancer Research is proud to announce its Third Annual Racquets for Research Tennis Tournament.

The event will be held at Cary Tennis Park on Saturday, August 9, 2008, and will include a tennis clinic with the pros, a pro-exhibition, as well as a men's and women's doubles tournament.

Proceeds from this event will be used to fund local cancer research projects at Duke Hospital, Rex Hospital, and the Jimmy V Therapeutic Cancer Research Grant at NC State.

The registration fee is $200 per team, which includes an event t-shirt, breakfast, lunch, and a gift bag for each participant.

WHO: The 3rd Annual Racquets for Research Tennis Tournament.  Doubles tennis teams will be joined by 2001 Wimbledon men's doubles champion and former UNC star Don Johnson, as well as tennis legends Tim Wilkinson and Tom Gullikson.
